August 15, 2024: Wilmington, NC 28405 Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Gray's Creek advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears travel to D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC) to face the Vikings in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 20. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 3-0. D.H. Conley won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC)
The Buccaneers now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pender for a non-league test on Monday, August 26.
