The Chugiak Mustangs football team (Chugiak, AK), dropped 36-23 in Friday's league bout with the visiting North Pole Patriots (North Pole, AK)

With the win, North Pole advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Palmer (Palmer, AK) to battle the Moose in a Railbelt contest on Friday, August 22. The Moose enter the contest with a record of 0-1. Palmer lost 78-41 in their recent league contest against Soldotna (Soldotna, AK)
