Mountain Crest Mustangs (Hyrum, UT) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host East Leopards (Salt Lake City, UT), 38-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Mountain Crest advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Uintah (Vernal, UT) to confront the Utes in a non-league match on Friday, August 22. The Utes come into the match with a record of 0-1. Uintah lost 39-38 in their recent non-league match against Murray (Murray, UT)

Coming up next, the Leopards confront the Olympus Titans (Salt Lake City, UT) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 22. East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Titans come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 14-7 non-league win over Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT).
