California High School Flag Football - Woodbridge can't hold off Vincent Memorial
August 15, 2025: Calexico, CA 92231 Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA), 21-19 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Vincent Memorial improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Scots travel to Western Christian (Upland, CA) to play the Fighting Lancers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. The Fighting Lancers go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Western Christian lost 12-0 in their recent non-league battle against Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA)
The Warriors now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Warren for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. Woodbridge will play a Bears team coming off a 31-7 non-league loss to Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
