August 15, 2025: Raleigh, NC 27609 Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Sanderson moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-0. New Hanover won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Croatan (Newport, NC)
The Centurions now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wake Forest for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16.
