August 15, 2025: Caney, OK 74533 Spectators at Friday's non-league contest between the Caney Cougars (Caney, OK) and the visiting Roff Tigers (Roff, OK), saw Caney's softball squad nip Roff by a score of 9-3.
With the triumph, Caney improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cougars host Caddo (Caddo, OK) to face the Bruins in a non-league contest on Monday, August 18. The Bruins enter the contest with a record of 2-0. Caddo won 13-3 in their recent non-league contest against Calera (Calera, OK)
The Tigers now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vanoss for a non-league bout on Monday, August 18. Roff will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Okemah (Okemah, OK). The Wolves record now stands at 3-1.
