August 15, 2025: Quapaw, OK 74363 Grove Ridgerunners (Grove, OK) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Quapaw Wildcats (Quapaw, OK), 7-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Grove improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Ridgerunners host Kansas (Kansas, OK) to play the Comets in a non-league game on Saturday, August 16. The Comets enter the game with a record of 2-0. Kansas won 9-5 in their recent non-league game against Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK)
The Wildcats now hold a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ketchum for a non-league match on Monday, August 18. Quapaw will battle a Warriors team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Colcord (Colcord, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
