August 15, 2025: Anderson, TX 77830 In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Riesel Indians.
With the win, Anderson-Shiro advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Fighting Owls travel to West (West, TX) to face the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, August 15. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 2-1. West won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against West Rusk (New London, TX)
The Indians now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brazos Christian for a non-league test on Friday, August 15. Riesel will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Mumford (Mumford, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
