Texas High School Volleyball - Ball over King
August 15, 2025: Galveston, TX 77550 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX) and the visiting King Panthers (Houston, TX), observed Ball's volleyball team top King by a count of 3-1.
The Tornadoes (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Alvin (Alvin, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Alvin achieved victory over Galena Park (Galena Park, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19. King will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Channelview (Channelview, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
