Calvary Baptist Cougars (La Verne, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad overcome the visiting San Gabriel Mission Pioneers (San Gabriel, CA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Norton Science & Language Academy (San Bernardino, CA). The Rockets come into the Majestic challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Norton Science & Language Academy lost by Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers play the Pilibos Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 18. San Gabriel Mission will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
