Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings (Sugar Land, TX) and the visiting Carnegie Vanguard Rhinos (Houston, TX), observed Fort Bend Dulles's volleyball team hold off Carnegie Vanguard by a count of 3-2.

The Vikings (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Aldine (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Aldine was edged by Caney Creek (Conroe, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
