Roy Royals (Roy, UT) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Draper APA Eagles (Draper, UT), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Royals (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Dixie (St. George, UT). The Flyers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Dixie was beaten by Desert Hills (St. George, UT), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the St. Joseph Jayhawks (Ogden, UT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 16. Draper APA will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Jayhawks go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Cyprus (Magna, UT).
