The Chieftans now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Idalou for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 16. Friona will play a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Abilene (Abilene, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
