In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Granbury Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Spring Lions.

Next up, the Pirates face the Iowa Colony Pioneers (Iowa Colony, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 16. Granbury will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the game with a 2-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Seguin (Seguin, TX).
