Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) and the host Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX), saw Industrial's volleyball squad notch a victory over Huntsville by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Industrial improves its record to 7-4 on the season. The Cobras travel to Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX) to encounter the Angels in a non-league battle on Friday, August 15. The Angels go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Incarnate Word Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX)

Next, the Hornets meet the Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 15. Huntsville will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Port Isabel (Port Isabel, TX).
