August 15, 2025: Lubbock, TX 79423 Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Lubbock-Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Paradise (Paradise, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Paradise beat Windthorst (Windthorst, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates meet the Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 15. Lubbock-Cooper will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Windthorst (Windthorst, TX).
