August 15, 2025: Yoakum, TX 77995 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (Stephenville, TX) and the host Yoakum Bulldogs (Yoakum, TX), observed Stephenville's volleyball team hold off Yoakum by a count of 2-1.
The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Jones (Beeville, TX). The Trojans enter the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Jones tipped Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jones for a non-league test on Friday, August 15. Yoakum will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Gonzales (Gonzales, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 5-0.
