Nevada High School Soccer - Western knocks off Silverado
August 16, 2024: Las Vegas, NV 89123 The Western Warriors soccer squad scored 8 points and held the host Silverado Skyhawks to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.
The Warriors now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Coronado for a 5A Southern bout on Wednesday, August 21. Western will play a Cougars squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Silverado moves to 0-1 on the year. The Skyhawks travel to Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Crusaders in a 4A Mountain bout on Wednesday, August 21. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Faith Lutheran lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Reed (Sparks, NV)
