August 16, 2024: Baxley, GA 31513 The Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) softball routed the visiting Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA), 18-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Pirates now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Effingham County for a non-league outing on Monday, August 19. Appling County will encounter a Rebels team coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Vidalia moves to 1-3 on the season. The Indians host Pierce County (Blackshear, GA) to encounter the Bears in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 17.
