August 16, 2024: Haworth, OK 74740 The Haworth Lions softball team scored 1 runs and held the visiting Indianola Warriors to 0 in the Lions non-league win on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allen for a non-league battle on Monday, August 19. Haworth will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tupelo (Tupelo, OK). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Indianola moves to 0-3 on the season. The Warriors host Gans (Gans, OK) to battle the Grizzlies in a Class A match on Tuesday, August 20. The Grizzlies go into the match with a record of 2-4. Gans lost 12-1 in their recent league match against Porum (Porum, OK)
