August 16, 2024: Hennessey, OK 73742 The Pawnee Black Bears softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Hennessey Eagles to 5 in the Black Bears league win on Friday.
The Black Bears now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Okemah for a non-league battle on Monday, August 19. Pawnee will confront a Panthers team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Asher (Asher, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Hennessey moves to 2-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pioneer-Pleasant Vale (Waukomis, OK) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Monday, August 19. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Pioneer-Pleasant Vale lost 13-8 in their recent non-league battle against Covington-Douglas (Covington, OK)
