August 16, 2024: Austin, TX 78704 University Trojans (Waco, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Travis Rebels (Austin, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, University improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX) to face the Rangers in a non-league test on Friday, August 16. The Rangers go into the test with a record of 1-1. Texas School for the Deaf lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX)
The Rebels now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastside Early College for a non-league test on Saturday, August 17. Travis will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Crockett (Austin, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
