South Dakota High School Soccer - Pierre T.F. Riggs nudges Brookings
August 16, 2025: Brookings, SD 57006 In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Brookings Bobcats.
The Governors (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD). The Rough Riders come into the test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Roosevelt edged Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD), 8-1, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tea for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. Brookings will clash with a Titans team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Mitchell (Mitchell, SD). The Titans record now stands at 0-1.
