Georgia High School Softball - Southwest Georgia Academy can't get by Calvary Christian
August 16, 2025: Columbus, GA 31909 Calvary Christian Knights (Columbus, GA) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they witnessed their softball team tip the visiting Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors (Damascus, GA), 4-3 in a non-league match.
The Knights (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Stratford Academy (Macon, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Stratford Academy was edged by Westfield School (Perry, GA), 9-0, in a non-league game.
The Warriors now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. Anne-Pacelli for a non-league game on Saturday, August 16. Southwest Georgia Academy will confront a Vikings team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-2.
