Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lake Travis improves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to McKinney North (McKinney, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 6-1. McKinney North won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Lake Travis (Austin, TX)

The Sandies now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palo Duro for a 5A Region I District 3 test on Tuesday, August 19. Amarillo will meet a Dons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Odessa (Odessa, TX). The Dons record now stands at 2-2.
