In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Bruceville-Eddy Eagles volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the McGregor Bulldogs.

With the win, Bruceville-Eddy improves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Comanche (Comanche, TX) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. The Indians go into the test with a record of 3-0. Comanche won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to De Leon for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16.
