The Stars (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Woodson (Woodson, TX). The Cowboys enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Woodson was beaten by Crowell (Crowell, TX), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cowboys meet the Bellevue Eagles (Bellevue, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 19. Bryson will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 0-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Roscoe (Roscoe, TX).
