Texas High School Volleyball - Magnolia over Katy

The Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Katy Tigers (Katy, TX), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.

The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Klein Oak (Spring, TX). The Panthers enter the 6A Region II District 15 contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Klein Oak notched a victory over Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region III District 19 contest, on Tuesday, August 19. Katy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Mavericks enter the contest with a 3-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Alief Taylor (Houston, TX).
