The Royse City Bulldogs edged the host Kingwood Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bulldogs face the Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, August 19. Royse City will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Salado (Salado, TX).

The Mustangs (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX). The Crusaders go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Concordia Lutheran was edged by Weiss (Pflugerville, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
