South Carolina High School Volleyball - Powdersville can't hold off May River

In Saturday's non-league match, the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) volleyball squad tipped the host Powdersville Patriots (Greenville, SC), by a margin of 2-1.

The Sharks now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bluffton for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21. May River will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Powdersville drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Easley (Easley, SC) to clash with the Green Wave in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 20.
