Texas High School Volleyball - Overton held off by S & S Consolidated
August 16, 2025: Overton, TX 75684 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX) and the host Overton Mustangs (Overton, TX), observed S & S Consolidated's volleyball team hold off Overton by a count of 2-1.
The Rams (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Palestine got by Neches (Neches, TX), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Union Hill Bulldogs (Gilmer, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 19. Overton will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Leverett's Chapel (Leverett's Chapel, TX).
