New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans face the Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage challenge, on Saturday, August 20. New Castle will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Bears enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Franklin Community (Franklin, IN).
