Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils confront the Enka Jets (Enka, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 21. Brevard will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Jets enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Tuscola (Waynesville, NC).

The Black Hawks now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avery County for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 21. North Buncombe will confront a Vikings team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
