Oklahoma High School Softball - Norman can't get by Alva
August 17, 2023: Alva, OK 73717 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK) softball team held off the visiting Norman Tigers (Norman, OK), by a margin of 1-0.
With the triumph, Alva moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Goldbugs host Bethel (Shawnee, OK) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Friday, August 18. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 6-3. Bethel lost 5-0 in their recent non-league contest against Blanchard (Blanchard, OK)
In their next game, the Tigers play the Purcell Dragons (Purcell, OK) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 17. Norman will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Dragons come into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 13-2 league win over Byng (Ada, OK).
