In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Metter Tigers softball team scored a close 10-7 win over the Bulloch Academy Gators.

Coming up next, the Tigers battle the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 3 outing, on Tuesday, August 22. Metter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Redskins enter the outing with a 6-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Glascock County (Gibson, GA).
