August 17, 2023: Petrolia, TX 76377 The Albany Lions topped the host Petrolia Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chillicothe for a non-league test on Thursday, August 17. Albany will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Prairie Valley (Nocona, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
The Pirates (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Chillicothe (Chillicothe, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Chillicothe was knocked off by Albany (Albany, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
