Indiana High School Soccer - Jennings County toppled by Greenwood
August 17, 2024: Greenwood, IN 46142 Greenwood Woodmen (Greenwood, IN) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN), 4-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Greenwood moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Woodmen travel to Perry Meridian (Indianapolis, IN) to meet the Falcons in a Mid-State match on Monday, August 19. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 0-0.
The Panthers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Dearborn for a non-league match on Tuesday, August 20. Jennings County will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Oldenburg Academy (Oldenburg, IN). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
