North Carolina High School Soccer - Southwest Guilford knocks off Southern Alamance
August 17, 2024: Graham, NC 27253 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) and the host Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), saw Southwest Guilford's soccer squad knock off Southern Alamance by a count of 3-0.
The Cowboys (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Lake Norman tipped Reagan (Pfafftown, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Southeast Alamance Stallions (Haw River, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 19. Southern Alamance will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Stallions enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
