Georgia High School Softball - Vidalia edges Academy for Classical Education
August 17, 2024: Vidalia, GA 30474 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Vidalia Indians softball team scored a tight 9-7 win over the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons.
The Indians (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Glascock County (Gibson, GA). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Glascock County nipped Thomson (Thomson, GA), 14-8, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Gryphons confront the Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 2 match, on Tuesday, August 20. Academy for Classical Education will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 2-2 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Tift County (Tifton, GA).
