August 17, 2024: Pauls Valley, OK 73075 The Kingfisher Yellowjackets softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Pauls Valley Panthers to 2 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Saturday.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weatherford for a 4A District 2 battle on Tuesday, August 20. Kingfisher will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Pauls Valley moves to 2-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Madill (Madill, OK) to confront the Wildcats in a 4A District 1 battle on Monday, August 19. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 0-4. Madill lost 10-0 in their recent non-league battle against Kingfisher (Kingfisher, OK)
