August 17, 2024: Jesup, GA 31545 Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Strong Rock Christian Patriots (Locust Grove, GA), 7-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Wayne County improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Yellow Jackets host Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA) to play the Terrors in a non-league game on Monday, August 19. The Terrors enter the game with a record of 2-2.
The Patriots now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Loganville Christian Academy for a non-league game on Monday, August 19. Strong Rock Christian will play a Lions squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Lions record now stands at 4-5.
