In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Almeta Crawford Chargers.

The Hurricanes (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Randle (Richmond, TX). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Randle lost by Montgomery (Montgomery, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
