August 17, 2024: Uvalde, TX 78801 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Comfort Bobcats/Deer (Comfort, TX) and the host Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX), observed Comfort's volleyball team top Uvalde by a count of 2-0.
The Bobcats/Deer (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Center Point (Center Point, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Center Point notched a victory over Brackett (Brackettville, TX), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) battle the Poteet Aggies (Poteet, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 20. Uvalde will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Aggies enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Alice (Alice, TX).
