North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hough can't get by Myers Park

August 17, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28209

Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), 2-1 in a non-league contest.

The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, East Mecklenburg was tipped by Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Huskies battle the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 20. Hough will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 league win over West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC).
