The Signal Mountain Eagles football team (Signal Mountain, TN), was tipped 18-15 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Hixson Wildcats (Hixson, TN)

The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame (Chattanooga, TN). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame was tipped by Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN), 29-15, in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Soddy Daisy for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 26. Signal Mountain will meet a Trojans team coming off a 27-6 non-league loss to Loudon (Loudon, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.
