In Thursday's non-league contest, the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Granville Central Panthers (Stem, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Firebirds battle the Roxboro Community Bulldogs (Roxboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 19. Falls Lake will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Person (Roxboro, NC).
