The Portola Tigers (Portola, CA) football overcame the visiting Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons (Reno, NV), 40-13 in Friday's non-league bout.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 25. Portola will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 33-0 non-league loss to Wooster (Reno, NV).

The Falcons now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Los Molinos for a non-league game on Saturday, September 2.
