The Anthem Prep Eagles football team (Anthem, AZ), was ripped 66-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Lincoln Prep Lightning (Chandler, AZ)

The Lightning (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cicero Prep Academy (Scottsdale, AZ). The Centurions come into the 1A East (8 Man) challenge with a 1-0 record.

The Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Desert Heights Prep for a 1A West (8 Man) challenge on Friday, August 25. Anthem Prep will meet a Yote team coming off a 59-6 non-league win over Fredonia (Fredonia, AZ). The Yote record now stands at 1-0.
