In Friday's non-league game, the Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA) football team knocked off the visiting River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA), by a score of 22-6.

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA). The Raging Rhinos come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Twelve Bridges toppled Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 41-20, in a non-league game.
