In Friday's non-league match, the host Union Local Jets football squad scored a good 20-8 victory over the Shenandoah Zeps.

In their next game, the Jets clash with the Buckeye Local Panthers (Rayland, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 25. Union Local will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 49-0 non-league loss to Barnesville (Barnesville, OH).
